What is LuxRs?
Just like the LuxR handpiece, LuxRs utilizes high-powered intense pulsed light (IPL) technology to permanently remove unwanted body hair. However, the LuxRs handpiece is specifically designed for the removal of hair in delicate areas such as the face, armpits, and genitals. This state-of-the-art IPL handpiece has small-size spot (12×28 mm), allowing it to rapidly remove unwanted hair in smaller body areas.
How does LuxRs Work?
The LuxRs handpiece emits a highly controlled light energy into the deeper layers of the skin. This in turn creates heat energy that effectively damages different structures of the hair follicle. The laser-induced damage impairs the ability of the hair follicle to grow hair.
